#4 Emma:

I think the only way to guarantee good weather is not to go on holiday In the uk ;) otherwise don’t let on you’re going away until you get there.. That might just fool the weather gods … Te he :) lol

Was that rainbow something you we’re working on at the easy craft party? I only saw from a distance! They are all so cute, I’d love to win :)

I’ll get in touch soon, probably tomorrow because right now I need rest!  We had a good holiday, weather was alright but we were staying five miles from Rothbury

Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Well… I had thought it would be nice to do a small giveaway when I reached 100 comments but the 100th comment was by me in the form of a pingback which was really boring!  I do like comments though :)   It’s nice to know I’m not rambling away to myself and it’s always interesting to see what you have to say.

So, to say thank you, I would like to offer you the chance to win a weather themed set of fridge magnets and a few other bits and pieces which I haven’t got round to photographing (I can be organised about Christmas, just not organised about today!)

To enter please leave me a comment!  If you can tell me how to guarantee good weather for our holiday then I may even enter you twice (subject to the good weather being delivered!).  I’ll pick a winner after our holiday so you have till Saturday 10th July!

We’re all going on a summer holiday…!

22 06 2010

We’re off to (hopefully) sunny Northumbria the weekend after next!  I think we’ve finally decided where we’re going to stop off en route – National Railway Museum Shildon which is conveniently half way between York and the cottage we’re staying in, is just off the A1(M) and is free which is always a bonus.  Fingers crossed the weather holds for us!  Suggestions of places to go in Northumbria are welcomed :)

In the meantime I was hoping to make it to this Sunday’s craft afternoon at Pulse but the boy is after a computer monitor to attach his laptop to and someone has just offered us one on freecycle which is lovely, but they are a good half hour drive away so we’re probably going to end up doing that on sunday instead…  The weather looks like it might last till then so maybe we’ll make an afternoon of it.

I’m trying to decide what crafty bits to take on holiday – you can guarantee that I’ll want/need what I don’t have with me!  At the moment I’m thinking a bit of cross stitch, some felt and some buttons and beads (you know, just in case!)…
